 Our Services:  Job Training and Career Building, Capacity Building, Elderly and Family Support, Refugee Advocacy and the Haiti’s Children Relief Project.

Job Training and Career Building - Mattapan Tech offers different career programs that focus on assisting students to prepare and pass their professional certification exams.

PC Repair/System Builder: Through this program, Mattapan Tech trains students to design and build computer systems, troubleshooting and repair techniques, as well as maintenance and customer service. Each year, Mattapan Tech successfully trains on average 300 PC Technicians, most of them find jobs in the computer service industry as service technicians, and others find jobs with telephone and internet services providers or as desktop specialists in large enterprises and local small businesses. Computer Networking/ CompTIA Network+: Mattapan Tech’s computer network course teaches students how to design, implement and troubleshoot local and wide area networks. The course focuses on network hardware architecture, cabling, network project management, site assessment, data storage, network security assessment and team building.  Mattapan Tech students that have gone on to become certified network technicians working as network technicians, network administrators and network engineers in major companies including Verizon, Comcast and other technology service providers.Click here to register for this class - No tuition - No hidden fees.


Project Management: This program trains students how to manage small and large projects. It includes project initiation, planning and execution. Capacity Building: Mattapan Tech’s capacity building program includes a series of seminars that introduce students to civic engagement, small business management, entrepreneurship, investments, team building, policymaking, critical thinking and US history. This program is recommended for leaders of organizations, small business owners or any individual who wants to become an entrepreneur or open a small business.


Web Design:  This course introduces students to web project management, web site architecture, basic web design, graphic formatting and web site promotion.Click here to register for this class - No tuition - No hidden fees.


MS Office Specialist: This program trains students how to prepare professional documents using Microsoft Word, spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and presentations using MS PowerPoint. Graduates of this program have found jobs in schools, legal offices, government offices, medical facilities, etc. Click here to register for this class - No tuition - No hidden fees


Free Computer and Internet Technology for Beginners: This program introduces students to computer and Internet technology. The class introduces students to the keyboard and mouse, to the most common Windows utilities, and to Internet browsers and how to navigate the Internet. Students also learn how to apply for jobs, how to renew their driver’s license and car registrations online, pay parking tickets online, seek government benefits and to find information about their elected officials. PC & Laptop Repair and Web Design – Mattapan Tech provides pro-bono PC & Laptop Repair and Web Design services to local 501(c)(3) organizations and low cost PC & Laptop Repair and Web Design services to small businesses and local residents.  Not only does this provide students with the opportunity to practice their skills, it also provides a source of income to Mattapan Tech in order to maintain its job training programs. Other Community Services

Job Search - Mattapan Tech helps students with resume and job interview preparation and submits their resumes to different job agencies. We have continued to develop relationships with employers with an effort to helping our students getting the jobs they deserve and have worked hard for. This service is available only for Mattapan tech students.

Translations - This program offers basic translation of documents from French to English and English to French. We charge a fee of $10 per page to members.  All funds raised from translations goes to supporting Mattapan Tech’s training programs. Call (617) 298-0357.

Immigration Referral Assistance - This program assists new immigrants with finding an immigration attorney or qualified immigration representatives for legal representation or to assist them with immigration form filing. Call (617) 298-0357

Elderly and Family Services - This service helps elderly and families with children navigate the system for benefits such as social security, SSI and food stamps. Mattapan Tech also offers a weekly food distribution to local residents who are not qualified for any government benefits. Call (617) 298-0357

Haiti’s Children Relief Program – This program provides dental care, computer training, nutrition, school tuition and uniforms to hundreds of children and their parents in Haiti. Call (617) 298-0357

§       Last year, Mattapan Tech served 9365 individuals in Greater Boston and 936 children and 459 adults in Haiti.
